Tell Me You'll Stay

Time flies when you're blind

Gravity let our hearts collide

Burning flames give it away

Our love brightened the darkest of days

We never knew we would crack

We thought our love was bullet proof glass

A small spark that started a blaze

But now life gets sour these days, since you packed up and moved away

I daydream of your smiling face

The sweet words you'd always say

At night I'd think of your love going away

You're gone, but I stayed.

I walked a thousand miles to see you again

Now I cant seem to ever forgive

Can't seem to live for the best

Shut everyone out, put on a vest

Now the hands of time move too slow

I learned to be numb and the story goes-

Love, struggle, endless fights

Put on a smile and wait for the night

What if this love we found is gone?

Our classic fairytale is now flawed

We never thought we'd see the finish line

We believed this love would test the hands of time

You made me believe you'd love me forever

but its not your fault that this love was severed

You're altogether beautiful and so much more

I'm sorry for ignoring you and creating this storm

Maybe you'll read this and turn away,

but if you still love me please tell me you'll stay.
