Temptations

Fri, 09/20/2013 - 23:31 -- maggotb

She sits alone,

the tears falling.

Picking up the blade,

The pains calling.

She finds the release,

Crimson lies.

Temptation increase.

A lovers betrayal,

Used as bait.

A trust is broken,

As she seals her fate.

Their songs unsung,

The tragic ones.

The broken hearts.

The unloved sons.

Alone they stand,

With temptations crave.

No one is around

when they cave.

Shaking and silent

his hand slowly moving.

The bottles charm

The allure improving.

A break from reality,

The cloudy haze.

It's what he needs.

It's what he craves.

The burn in his throat,

The bitter taste.

10 months sober,

All gone to waste.

Their songs unsung,

The tragic ones.

The broken hearts.

The unloved sons.

Alone they stand,

With temptations crave.

No one is around

When they cave.

They hide in silence.

The burn inside.

Desire for more,

The tears they've cried.

Emotions as fire,

Hate as fuel.

Temptations seduction,

Harsh and cruel.
