A Tender Kiss and Life's Bliss

Location

What is the true measure of happiness?

All the good times as well as the bad

And the ones who went for the ride

A tender kiss and life's bliss

Going through the motions

Then starting anew

The relationships that have past

The relationships that have stood the test of time

Those befriended by genial fate

True happiness is seeing the beauty in sadness;

The light at the end of the tunnel

Joyfulness takes form in simpler things;

Rejoicing at the Sun in the morn

Singing and feeling every note, every beat

Touching the sky on the backyard swing

Dancing amidst the autumn leaves

Laughing at wholesome jokes

Flirting with young fellows

And enjoying a cool breeze

The world is fresh and new and precious

That is worth smiling for
