A Thank You To My Bullies

Small… little… shrimp…

Growing up was tough

Picked on for years because of my size

Just wanted to say enough

Late to hit my growth spurt

Affecting me in sports

Parents so supportive

When I was out of sorts

Finally I grew up,

To a normal height

Realized my past pains,

Provided so much insight

Those bullies did me wrong

They hurt me to the core,

Now I want to thank them

For making me much more
