Thank you, my precious friend

Dear, my precious friend

You’ve saved me, my knight in shining armor

From the castle that brought me dishonor

Although I cleaned and kept the masters at bay

They’d never be happy, and then I payed

But then you swooped in and fought them off

And promised that’d we would run off

To an angelic place that you called “home”

A place that you were allowed free-roam

Though, it wasn’t first time that I was promised

To live happily and finally feel that calmness

I had been let down by princes before

That’s why I hesitated at the door

But then you grabbed me and said it slowly

“I love you, my lady, I love you wholly”

With that sentence, I began to run

Towards the horizon with the rising sun

I thank so much for you being with me

And now I shall conclude this letter for thee

Love,

Your future queen to be
