Through the Eyes of the Woods

Location

Through the eyes of the woods

gazing through the darkness they watch over earth as it sleeps.

Gently caressing the willow as it weeps.

She Weeps for the sorrow of a thousand long years.

Weeps for the burden of our children's deepest fears.

Drowning in the dread, she sheds her drenching tears.

Flooding the land she once held so dear
