Tick Tock: My ambition

Location

Junior year is almost over, time goes tick tock'

Teachers say " your future looks bight, dont you see?"

Ill admit its diffiult to evision what lies ahead for me.

i make good grades, A's the occasional B

But the greatest test is the stress of applying for colleges and freshman year tuition fees

How is school possible for me? My mother is ill, with lun disease

she has struggled her whole life on a low income to take care of me

She has pushed me to study and follow my dreams

Taught me that nothing in ln life comes easy or is free.

i dream of an education

so i work part time at a burger shack and work even harder in school

while the rest of my friends spend their time partying and being cool

My mind is focused. i keep going, i keep moving.

Because losing in life is not the option im choosing

As the clock goes tick tock i work hard until my highschool graduation

I study  and save my money all in anticipation

Of going to college and turning my dreams in to goals

working hard to see my acheivement to be a pastry chef unfold

What makes me tick is the chance to work hard to  gain the opportunity

to turrn my dreams into goals to reach in reality
