Ticking of the Clock

I'm sitting here yet again

letting the hour roll by

You ask the same questions,

I give the same answers

Saying I don't want to die.

A misunderstanding changed my whole life

Who knew words could cause such strife?

Now the labels because I spoke with passion

"He's depressed, suicidal, he needs protection"

Now I'm stuck here listening to you talk

Watching the ticking of the clock
