Time

The clock shall always be the enemy,

With his hands of weaponry,

Time stamped in history,

With actions of misery.

Tick tock goes the clock,

The time pretending to act like Sherlock,

Using many mysteries,

To go through unhappy histories.

The black and white clock,

Prepare to unlock,

Revealing the gears,

That last through the years.

Losing time with family,

Focusing on fantasy,

Absent in a child’s life,

Losing connections with your wife.

Time is a gift,

Use it to persist,

Do not resist,

For life does not untwist.
