Tiny Soldiers

Words, so simplistic but yet so strong.

The letters stand in their formations, side by side like mighty soldiers.

As they band together, they create something undeniably breathtaking.

These tiny soldiers can create almost anything just by rearranging themselves.

They were there for me, fighting off my tears as they cascaded upon their battlefield.

They smiled next to me as my laughter shook the pages that they lived on.

And they grew with me as I found my worth between their lines.

These words became my greatest friend, teaching me how to blossom, how to cry and how to survive.

Although tiny, these soldiers sat with me when life continued to crumble and stayed with me as it began again in the morning.

Day in, day out they stayed at their post, waiting proudly for someone to scan them for a new meaning.

So let us all give a hand for these noble soldiers.
