To From

Tue, 11/08/2016 - 04:21 -- Hazel.O

From empty streets lined with overgrown trees and shrubs

To concrete jungles and bumper to bumper traffic

From morning sunrise

To morning glare from tall glass lined buildings

From having doors held open for you

To getting door slammed in your face

From leaving your door unlocked

To locking things behind more locks

From night walks by yourself

To don’t go out alone

From friendly faces

To don’t make eye contact

From closed minded people

To accepting souls

From white around the edges

To diversity

From little sleepy town

To the city that never sleeps
