Tortured Heart

Sun, 06/25/2017 - 22:48 -- K.Blair

The tale of the Tortured Heart begins with one,

to be graceful in beauty and soul...

Could catch the attention of all,

but has yet to learn how to act.

Beauty fades in the tales of time,

which seems to be gone in the blink of an eye.

Oh, Tortured Heart what is to become of me?

The ability to light up a room, to brighten spirits, and yet contains the inability to love...

Oh, Tortured Heart what is to become of me?

Am I to live an empty life wandering the woods like the spirits trapped?

Or am I to live as a siren?

Oh, Tortured Heart what is to become of me?

Oh, the pain and shame combined,

Let this not be my downfall.

I guess I shall forge my own love life... forgive me Tortured Heart.
