Towers of LEGO

The world consists of

Single blocks.

And we were towers of LEGO.

Stacked up, man on man

Like building blocks, and

Reaching for the top

Stretching for the glory land

Together, to not fall on

The rock or even the sand

But we were towers of LEGO.

Together we stood, and

Divided we are. Is no one

trying to reach for the stars,

or       are      some      trying    to     go     too      far?

Alone.

Without a shoulder to lean on.

Not even one.

But just because we ain't one,

It doesn't mean we're dead and done.

So we were towers of LEGO.

Our lives still "tick, tock" from

The clock of Death.

Single blocks can still flock

And possibly be the key to a lock,

That opened door by a knock to

Help us reach out to Heaven

Again. Together.

Because if all was one, we knew

That the towers would fall.

For we were towers of LEGO.
