Tribute to the Everyday Lesbian

Location

I feel your pain.

I know the hate.

I see the fate we're doomed to take.

The cruel words.

The harsh remarks.

I share your scars,

and broken hearts.

We join hands.

We stand tall.

We won't change.

Not for ya'll.

Call us what you like.

Throw us to the dogs.

But you will know,

you're all just hogs.

We know the truth.

We still bleed red.

So close your eyes,

plug your ears,

and pray to god

that we disappear.

but if you open your eyes

we'll still be here.
