The True Reality

Do not pull at the disguise,

For you will be incredibly shocked.

You see someone happy and vivacious,

While internally there is a suffering victim.

The words that are spoken lead to the actions;

The actions that is too humiliating to admit.

Evidence is shown that proves these issues,

But everyone is oblivious to the truth.

Everyone assumes the innocent,

But no one will discover the within.

Every rose shows a beautiful face,

But a stem of thorns is its holding base.

Though false criticism is heard,

It is difficult not to believe.

This encourages punishment to occur,

And harm is needed to feel relief.

Due to the embarrassment and concern that will come,

It is unquestionable to keep the truth a secret.

While wishes of revealing reality are possessed,

It is required to remain behind a disguise to be accepted.
