The Truth

The Truth

Judgment. Profiling. Stereotypes.

New people, new places.

Inner emotions and thoughts take over

Like a personal plague in the head.

Too many things to mess up

Not enough things to get right.

Perspective. Surface. Opinions.

Change is either inevitable, or unattainable.

One side of the story is superb

The other hasn't been given a chance.

Fitting in a little too well,

Or sticking out a little too far.

Fatigue. Tired. Coward.

True emotions never show

Unless caught off guard.

Fatigue is non-existent,

And "tired" is everyone's sad excuse

For the truth they're too scared to say.

 The Truth

Judgment. Profiling. Stereotypes.
New people, new places.
Inner emotions and thoughts take over
Like a personal plague in the head.
Too many things to mess up
Not enough things to get right.

Perspective. Surface. Opinions.
Change is either inevitable, or unattainable.
One side of the story is superb
The other hasn't been given a chance.
Fitting in a little too well,
Or sticking out a little too far.

Fatigue. Tired. Done.
True emotions never show
Unless caught off guard.
Fatigue is non-existent,
And "tired" is everyone's sad excuse
For the truth they're too scared to say.
