Truth of Growing Up

You'll always be my baby, they say.

Time goes by so fast, they say.

My high school years were a breeze, but college? That's a completely different story.

Having to make payments of high costs for required classes for my future career? Wow.

Studying all day and pulling all nighters for tests almost every other day? Wow.

Having to do good on all tests because they're weighted so heavily? Wow.

Entering college made me realized I wasn't a kid anymore.

I now know that I'm the only one that has responsibility over all my actions.

I now know that I'm not a kid anymore.

But I also now know that time can escape me..but my childish soul will always stay.

My childish soul was what helped me get through my diificult first year of college.
