Two Worlds Collide

Location

Little sis, your words speak an ungrounded sound.

They are the buzzing bees that enter my head

but I wish your words could stay around

like the sadness that wraps me up in bed.

It’s here, the end, I knew it would come

like the inevitability of the sun set at dawn.

I’m here in peace like a constant hum.

Big sis, my breath is shorter from now on.

My life, a halt with no peace or love

the bees, once felt won’t leave my sight

If it was you I could see instead of above

my heart wouldn’t feel like a constant night.

But, by devotion you will be forever mine

now as my angel that brings me shine.
