Unconditional Love

Mon, 08/03/2015 - 15:06 -- Crows56

Just because they are family.

Just because they are your origin.

It doesn't mean you are their toy.

You aren't a faceless being that moves to their tunes.

They saying that you are less than you are

Is not a love that you should bare.

You're more than them.

More than they can be.

So life may seem hard and hateful right now

But there will be people that see.

See the self that they have refused to see.

So chin up, back straight, look ahead.

Walk forward.

Never retreat.

Head towards the light with shadowy figures.

They're waiting for you.

Waiting to love and see the being that is.

Head towards them.

When you reach those others walk side by side.

And reach back to help the others left behind.

Because you were in that same place.

You can do it.

We know you can.

Just because they are family.

Just because they are your origin.

Doesn't mean you are under their strings.

It's hard.

We know.

But we're standing here.

Reaching back.

With the unconditional love

That never actually reached you.

Just because they are family.

Just because they are your origin.

Doesn't mean you stop reaching

For unconditional love.
