Undesired love

For once when love is felt
The heart breaks down to a stop
Its complexities we do not understand
But we try to make sense of it
We search and seek for nothing but love
Its value we do not know
When dawn breaks,  we are left with unanswered notes

A day passes by without a person's ignorance about love
The young, old and rich become victims of this tragedy
For once we are made to think,  is this a sort of melancholy?
Maybe not

A heart could easily be broken
Just as a mirror could easily be smashed
How did we get here?
Is love worth dying for?
A moment of peace could bring the heart to rest
For later, it would face the consequences

Everything goes well
Until this love fails to stand strong
Fear grips it until it has nothing left
Once broken,  always alert
What could this be?
An undesired love
Certainly what we all know it to be: Love
