Unforgiven Leaving

Seeing the sun-set and rise everyday

Reminds me of your unforetold absence

Every morning I ask for your penance

Knowing your return is hopeless anyway

I never expected you to leave home

Even when you kicked our own garden gnome

Fortunately predictable action

Everything between us is attraction

Yet I hope you never turn back around

Every nightmare is the story of us

That whenever you fall, you hit the ground

Possibly get run over by a bus

Though I will be waiting for forever

I hope I forget us all together
