Walking down the street

Its more than a dream

Its the reality that makes my soul want to jump out of me

What I see is a frightening sight

All different faces but no difference inside

It's that thought in the back of your mind

That makes your heart cry like the night 

The yearning inside to fit like a glove 

The worry to maybe just not be enough 

We come from difference places, Cultures, and fights

Still we try to fit into the same call 

Don't get me wrong we come as one

United we stand, Trusting in God 

Each with something different to offer 

Different stories and different battles 

Still connected in some way or the other 

Please don't try to steal my purpose

I need yours fulfilled in order for mine 

To not become an orphan.
