UnJudgeStand Me

Tue, 07/26/2016 - 18:48 -- Lebo

Forlonness and dejection tear at my heart
Serrated claws ripping flesh apart
Searing pain pulsates through a body so maimed
Burning gaze from icy daggers aimed at my shame
Are we not the same?

Oh! Judgement thou art fled to brutish beasts
Vivid descriptions of my indiscretions their callous tongues cannot resist
Man's inhumanity to man makes countless thousands mourn
Self-righteous inclinations fuel his voracity to feast upon his own

Surface relations the brimming fountain of elitism
Birthing negative paradigms through a tilted prism
Alas! How our vanity & contempt has been fed
I dare you, probe deeper and you may find that my blood too is red!
