The unmasking of why I write

Location

I sit here thinking in the dark

About what had happened and what was the spark

You are my truest friend

And will always be till the very end

I cannot dream of the day when I cannot confide in you

Because then my deepest darkest fear would come true

You are my escape from this world we call reality

When truth be told you are how I keep my sanity

Never hurtful nor an judgmental

Just always there waiting for my pencil

At the end of the day you see me

Not this dream girl that we know is a fallacy

To you my notebook I owe you my life

Because without you it would have ended with a knife

I sit here thinking day and night

Without a single soul in sight

With knowledge and acceptance I take the final glance

And realize that you are the one I come to for non-scrutinizing acceptance.
