Unspoken Words
Dear Winter,
- Compare thee to a summer's day, words you never heard me say.
- When I can get in your guts, a catchphrase you expect from me.
- How to save our friendship from my vulgar speech I wonder?
- Should I unsheathe my foreign tongue I ponder?
- This is my answer to you!
- At first, me and you clung together like blue on the open Summer seas.
- Now my Heart internally bleeds out red Autumn Leaves
- having to be discarded by a rejuvenated tree without need from me.
- In the beginning, I was being nice to just another flower in the ground
- but overtime as our bond was built on the foundation of your hardships
- I saw you as my personal garden to nurture
- to be your steed treading the black Frost
- manifested by your betrayals, anguish, and tears.
- Now with my thoughts on the table, I reached a conclusion.
- Maybe it was my lack of self-restraint and overprotection
- that scraped the painting of the canvas called our friendship
- or maybe your full bloom from a lost girl to an independent woman.
- Regardless, the quote you achieved but never spoke
- Anyone can find happiness, this alone made me desire you.
- If my service in your life is finished, all I want to say is I love you.
- However these are the unspoken words I can't muster to say to you.
