Until That Day

Location

Ever since I can remember

I have wanted to do one thing

Program, ‘till all that is left is nothing but ember

Until the the system no longer has wings

I wish not my face to be on the screen

But rather for change!

Even if I only live off caffeine

Until I am deranged and marked as strange

I know there is no doorbell to ring

So I will hack and code my way in

Deep into their secrets that sting

Until the people know of what lies past the government’s grin

They cannot lie forever

My codes will find their way in

For digits are far more clever

But until that day, they win
