Unwanted Memories

Depression filled her mind completely,

With thoughts she did not wish to think,

Thoughts of the past, the pain, the suffering

Imprinted on her brain like ink.

This was the problem with her depression, taunting her with

These things she would never forget

Memories of what had happened, her life

Haunting her at every chance they met

The anxiety made her fight no easier

Neither did the OCD and self-hate

Her mind, a vicious whirlwind,

Speeding up her wait till fate
