Upward Bound

Location

I see what the birds see,

as if I were one with the flying

the wind is my element as my wings are floating above me

Above the heads of all the ground dwellers, I soar

my metalic machine, glistens and gliems

I look back nevermore

My spirit has been set free to wander as it may please

among the clouds aloft

to the ground I will never freeze

The sky is the zone where the true beauty of Earth roam,

over and above eight thousand feet I call,

the sky my own second home
