You planned their form in the days of Creation,
And You'll be with them 'til their final destination.
You knit them together in the darkness of night.
You made each part special; everything is right.
You put much thought in their their little form,
And waited expectantly until they were born.
You knew their days from beginning to end,
Hoping that one day they would call you "Friend".
You love them dearly, yes, each and every one.
You call them daughter or You call them son.
So who are we to kill these babes?
Especially when Jesus saves.
It's not our place to give them death,
Even before they take first breath.
From the wombs the babes they cry,
"Let me live; don't let me die!"
The convenience of murder should not reign,
For in the end it will lead to pain.
Grant them life, the right they deserve.
Could you kill a babe? Do you have the nerve?
God sees them precious for a purpose.
Don't just look at them by the surface.
God values life and so should we.
This is how things should always be.
