Villanelle of Faith

Location

Only with patience will you find your fate.

Dear child, you must hold your faith in me.

I promise this to you: I'll not be late.

If many seasons pass and still you wait,

There is a purpose, as you'll surely see

Only with patience will you find your fate.

Even as night appears to grow too great

And evil rages on a horrid spree

I promise this to you: I'll not be late.

There is a time for you, and on that date

Your flame will be lit for eternity.

Only with patience will you find your fate.

I know all, as you must appreciate

Though you cannot understand me fully

I promise this to you: I'll not be late.

For now, simply trust that I will abate

The constant hoplessness which speaks to thee.

Only with patience will you find your fate.

I promise this to you: I'll not be late.
