Villanelle of the Raging Storm

The storm rages on, Hear the drums of thunder, The people's lives are gone. The rain pours on and on, Livelihoods torn asunder, The storm rages on. Hear the people along The road weeping of the storm's power, The people's lives are gone. Villages flooded, people gone, Area's deserted, not a whisper, But still the storm rages on. The storm is temporary, lives shall continue on, But not here, because of the storm, lighting, and thunder, The people's lives are gone. When they come back later on, They shall still hear the thunder of the storm that raged on, and caused the people's lives to be gone.
