The Voice We Didn't Expect You to Have

We asked for quiet

You gave us the hell

We tried to sell to you.

We hoped you wouldn’t notice

The repackaged present

We tossed at your feet.

We wanted better than what we gave to you

And expected you to give it in full,

So we got angry when you didn’t.
