The Wait

The wait isn't always worth it,

Sometimes the love fades, bit-by-bit,

Sometimes they are like a puzzle and they're pieces that just can't fit,

And sometimes it's worth it.

You might lose your footing,

But that's no reason to stop the effort you're putting.

Love wasn't meant to be simple,

Love wasn't meant to tear us apart,

Love wasn't meant for the faint of heart,

Love was meant for those that are truly interested in this fragile work of art.
