Waiting
This thing, is breaking me apart,
But it keeps me breathing,
Even though my heart is bleeding,
It over comes me from the inside out,
Strands of pink, faded dull,
Intertwine my fingers like a telephone wire,
Electric, magnetic, pull me in.
I can’t stop, I’m overcome.
This battles over, before it can be won.
All I can do is, fall asleep,
And dreams of you, they capture me,
And in the morning I’ll find,
That you never did leave,
Because you’re with me to the end,
And you can never really end.
