Wake Up!

Wake up mama

It's not your fault,

these kids today will never

be bought,

Wake up mama

before it's too late.

Your kids in trouble

and he's slavin' after 8,

Wake up mama

are you even concerned

the people out here are slowly getting burned,

Wake up mama

you see I tried to tell you

he's stealing from the store again and nobody even knows

he's starving at home,

Wake up mama

all this drama going on

it's safe to say that I'm always home,

Wake up mama

he's bleeding in the street,

got shot four times by the doggone police,

Wake up mama

Brutality is real,

Out here prayin' for my life

When only God can reveal,

Wake up mama

It's an important day,

No ring no dress

Just a reminder

It's your son's death day.
