Walk

My walk through the park
Not an easy task
From end to end
As the time passed
Slowly moving, pit pat of the feet
A hidden path
Not paved by stone, but by worn tracks
Waiting to be treaded upon
Nature surrounding, it’s so surreal
Moving skillfully through the branches
To an opening, a place with landmarks
Finally reaching a place
A bench to rest and eat at
My feet float in the air
All this stress relieved
A little walk is a huge accomplishment
Through my park.
