Was It Worth It

Was It Worth It

She said goodbye

As she walked out the door

And her mom was scared

For her daughter had her cellphone with her

And it was a brand new car

As she came to a yield and came to a stop

she pulled out her phone for the eighth time

and as she went to go again a car came out in front of her

if her nose wasn’t in her phone

she would’ve seen

the danger ahead

in front of her

and honestly

she could’ve died

if she had gone faster

she cried as her mom was called

for the front of the car was totaled

from the collision
