Watching You Cry

Location

They're avoiding you.
You're always surrounded by people
And now's my chance to talk to you.
You're cool,
You're popular,
You're sporty,
You're smart.
I'm awkward,
I'm mean,
I'm lazy,
I'm smart.
So when I see you cry,
I can't talk to you.
I can put my hand on your shoulder
And give you a hug.
I can help you calm down,
And then you'll go back to ignoring me,
So I'll wait in the background again,
Waiting for you to be alone.
