In the Way We Prance

Location

Oblivion has the day when I first had my shame

And I'm ready to exhume all that's whole

Vanity and fear once patronized my soul

Oh how freedom is felt being someone else

To take the damage masked

Whilst explaining my difficult life's demands

If only everyone was given the chance

to understand why we differ in the way we prance

I was called the rude, the inane, and the joker

longing to forget the ones I loved yet forsaken by

But I fight and search for my way

To find acceptance without a need to crossfade
