We Are All Sons And Daughters Of Our Heavenly Father

Location

We are all sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father.
Can't we all just get along?
Can we continue to love one another,
And help those in need?
Can we bare each other's burdens,
And pray for one another?
Can we have the spirit of forgiveness in our hearts
All the day long?
Yea, can we not have mercy for our brethren?
Is it hard to love, or are you easy to hate?

We are all sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father.
Can't we all just get along?
Can we retain a remission for our sins?
Can we always remember Christ and His Atonement?
Yea, can we keep the commandments of God for our own safety?
Can we continue to love the Lord with all our might, mind, and strength?
Is it cold outside, or is it the coldess within your bosom?

We are all sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father.
Can't we all just get along?
Can we put down the guns, and pick up our bibles?
Can we forget the past, and remember the scriptures?
Can we put down our bullets, and pick up our wisdom?
Can we put down the strong drink, and drink
The Blood of Jesus Christ, which was shed for us?
Yea, can we put down our anger, and pick up our love?
Is that the Spirit of the Lord in your cup,
Or is it damnation of hell fire prepared to inflame you?

We are all sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father.
Can't we all just get along?
Can we stop hating, and start loving?
Can we stop backbiting, and start uplifting?
Can we stop gossiping, and start praising?
Can we stop cheating, and start loyalty?
Can we stop fighting, and start hugging?
Yea, can we stop killing, and start saving?

We are all sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father.
Can't we all just get along?
Black and white.
Rich and poor.
Bond and free.
We are all sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father,
Eternally.
