We Are the Terra Cotta Warriors

We're the terra cotta warriors

Sitting there like stone

Teachers dicuss history

While we play on our phones

Dreaming of the world

Beyond our high school walls

Like our favorite movie theater

Or the local mall

When they talk about our futures

We just roll our eyes

We don't care about it

And if we do we must disguise

They say our generation

Is one that has been lost

And when we fianlly open up our eyes

We will realize the cost
