We came here to work, not to steal,

We are dreamers, not robbers,

We came for a better life, but they don't see it that way,

They threat us like criminals, when in fact we are just looking for a better life,

Trying to reach our dreams and goals, but with these bars against my chest and shackles tied in my legs,

We can't go anywhere, we cannot advance,

How are we supposed to work and educate ourselves if there is a government forcing us back?

We are all human beings,

We should help each other, one another,

With our bare hands, with our kind hearts, 

If we cooperate we can all achieve our goals,

Let us not fight!

God made us all equal to live with one another, so why do we fight?

Let us reach our goals!

Let us reach our dreams!

Let us live a better life!

Together we can make this country a better place,

No more discrimination, no more disrespect,

We are just like you, 

We have hearts and we have souls,

We're all human beings,

We are dreamers not stealers,

We are workers not robbers,

We came for a better life, 

We are Latinos and we are going to reach the sky!
