We're Not

Location

Breathe in

Smoke

Incense

Fears

Red tinge skin

Ribs

Hair

Grip tight

Taste

Amber honey burn

From your half-asleep mouth

Sticky sweet dribbling words

Inhale

Incense

Cheap sweet celestial toxins

Drugged dream divinity

Castles winding up winding

Comforter tangled and faded pillowcase

Unspined skeletal staircase

Unfleshed skeletal love

Hold tighter

Domestic fantasy

Touch my neck while I read

Wake up to the shower sputtering on

Hazel grey morning

Hands

Hold

Warm shampoo wet hair

Lips good morning

Groggy coffee

No shirt

White socks

careless touch

I've never needed the lies to be real

Or the tale to be true

But so bad do I want

To live a lie with you
