What Do I See?

Location

What do I see?

A world filled with hatred.

I see a world were man can't be with man. They can't be seen holding hands.

I see a world with double standards because if you're a lesbian it's cool.

But for a dude, it's going against the world of the Lord.

If that's the case, then what's the Bible even for?

'Cuz you know what else it says? A shirt can't be made from two fabrics.

Imagine people referring to the Word over that!

Jesus said love one another. So, where'd all the anger come from?

I decided long ago that I'm just so done.

So done with the bigotry

So done with the prejudice

I don't understand why people don't get it!

Gays are humans just like you and me.

They have a right to live their lives sexure and free.

I hope one day people will just let them be.

Until then,

What do I see? A society consumed with hate.

What will you see?

Me accepting gays with a warm embrace.
