What I Once Loved and Simply Lost Forever..

You see me smile While I feel pain. You see me mad When I'm truly sad. You see me crying When I've lost something dear to me. You ask what's wrong, and my simple answer is nothing, but i think, "everything." You walk away thinking what else can you do While I stay behind wishing I would disappear. You don't see what I feel When you see me alone. You become distant from me When I look for comfort in the worst places. You hear rumors that I am gone for good. You regret you never did anything to keep me safe. You start looking for me in the places you think I would be. Be in reality, I have always been there. I never left. You start to think back what has caused me to become like this. And then, You remembered what I had said... "I love you and nothing more. I love you and nothing less. I love you for I will always be your friend. I love you as my own. But I can't seem to love you further than as friends." You never had the chance to tell me what you thought. I simply felt stupid to even say anything. You then became someone else. Not the same person I loved. You became a stranger Who once was a dear friend of mine. Who are you now..? My friend? Or just another person that I have lost forever?
