What If White Were Black and Black Were White

What if white were black and black were white,
What if night were day and day were night.
Would things stay the same
Or would they suddenly change?
You see, it's all about the meaning, not about the name.
So if night were sunlight, clouds, and blue skies,
Would that mean I'd be asleep during this time?
Or would it mean we're suddenly awake at night?
Does the name really matter, just as long as there's light?
So if "whites" hold all the characteristics that "blacks" hold today,
Would fighting for white equity be the right thing to say?
Or would it mean that racism would still be the same?
That whites are superior just because of their "name."
