What A Waste

What a waste of talent, what a waste of life

I watched them on the big screen, listen to them on the radio

I talked to them in the halls, they are pros at hiding strife.

Who could ever think that what they have, is that disposable

Who could ever be that selfish with the gifts they already have in their hand

You are never that alone

There is always someone who will miss you, someone to help you take a stand.

Your life is so precious and worth so very much

There is always another option, another answer

It takes courage to ask for help, but you should never just give up.

You have so much to offer, your talent, so many gifts

You have made an impression, left your mark

Your strenght and courage is what uplifts.

Don't take all that away,  don't bring it to an end

There is healing and your future

And now is the time to begin.
