What Would

Sun, 11/30/2014 - 18:11 -- gvdh

Tugging, pulling at the curtain

Waiting to come out.

Waiting for someone to push me. I’m certain

I’m just waiting about.

Lover of beauty and good,

Of nature, art, and wit.

What would,

What would,

What would,

What would others comment.

Running through fields of green,

Playing guitar, and contemplating what is unseen.

Reading and observing and thinking and quoting

While drinking my caffeine.

Fear of you

Fear of me

Fear of what might not be meant to be

Fear of being cut into.

Lover of music, bikes, and outdoors

Dogs and horses and candy stores.

Why won’t you open up?

Fear I will lose.

Fear of not being in control.

Fear I will not be chosen.

Fear that I won’t feel whole.

I hold myself back,

This is know

And I do not know how to let go.

Tugging, pulling at the curtain

Waiting to come out.

Waiting for someone to push me. I’m certain

I’m just waiting about.
