What Would You Change Scholarship Slam "The way we live"

Location

With the power to change whatever I'd like,

the future would be unpredictable,

but with the knowledge inside my mind,

this change would seem inevitable.

People would be like indians,

living off the land,

leaving what is left unused,

for the next generation.

When we were creating fire for protection,

not just out of curiousity,

killing not from murderous disection,

but absolute necessity.

Residing in houses of mother earth,

instead of man made cages,

respecting and honoring birth,

instead of shaming it on all ages.

Playing in the dirt OUTSIDE,

to stimulate our muscles and brain,

hunting for survival,

not for sport or game.

Using medicine to cure the ill,

instead of lying for a profit,

having proper justice

instead of what the LAW deems fit.

Living to survive,

trying to prosper,

not living to die,

fearing made-up monsters.

The things we saw were beautiful,

and now look at what we've done,

if I could change a single thing,

this would be that one.

Living like we have before,

long long ago,

when earth had a living core

and humans didnt know.
