When Everyone's Screaming

Wed, 07/02/2014 - 15:52 -- 2twins

When everyone's screaming nobody cares

what anyone else may have to say.

But add your voice to the chorus, protest to the air.

Or write for you and do not share,

don't join in the fruitless fray,

Because when everyone's screaming, nobody cares.

Only add your words at a time where

they are willing to listen, or maybe they may.

Or add your voice to the chorus, protest to the air.

They are all angry, so please beware

maybe their offences you could allay,

but when everyone's screaming, nobody cares.

You can try to stop them if you dare,

if you succeed the fighting may go away.

Add your voice to the chorus, protest to the air.

There is so much hatred to try and repair

and I admit that I feel some dismay,

because when everyone's screaming, nobody cares.

But add your voice to the chorus, protest to the air.
